I love creating; life, crafts, writing and DIY. I love the idea that before I did this today, there was no this (or at least not here, not now, not working ...)
Today's creation has been tiling a floor ... New boiler to replace old, requires new flooring to replace old tiling and big hole where old boiler was. I've always been a creating, mending, repairing, restoring sort of person ... to fill the hole where destruction washes in .. so, tiles (check), adhesive (check), looking pretty awesome for an amateur (check) ...
I have this link to all the craftspeople through history and continents, who have worked at making something from nothing, or making something better
A lot like life - it's easy to make life, but hard to make a life well (yours or theirs), to make it valuable, to make it worthwhile
So, this evening I'm happy to join the millions of humans that tried and succeeded, in some shape or form, to enhance life, to repair things, to build or to develop
So, now off to drink a celebratory glass of something and to craft more ... tonight I think it will be knitting
